Enhance hydrodynamic and thermohaline modeling for aquaculture and fisheries in the Region of Murcia, focusing on interactions between the Mar Menor and the Mediterranean Sea.

Validate and demonstrate the improvements of high-resolution models for coastal and transitional waters, aligned with the requirements of the Water Framework Directive (WFD) and Marine Strategy Framework Directive (MSFD).

Increase the spatial resolution of Copernicus Marine models to enable detailed local simulations through downscaling techniques.

Develop and implement a coastal operational modeling system tailored to the Region of Murcia, with special emphasis on the Mar Menor.

Leverage expertise gained from EU Digital Twin projects to enhance modeling capabilities.

Engage national stakeholders to showcase the benefits and applications of the operational models developed.

Deliver high-resolution coastal data products via the new Copernicus Marine Data Store to support local decision-making.
